Most large chains stopped publishing
Marriott, Hilton and IHG price rooms by demand. There is no award chart to read, which means nobody — including this site — can tell you in advance what a night will cost. Anyone who quotes you a number for those is quoting an average dressed as a fact.
What a fixed rate looks like
A handful of programmes still publish a conversion: a fixed number of points against a fixed amount off the bill, with no categories and no blackout dates. Those are the ones the hotels page can state a rate for, and it states only what the programme itself publishes.
The useful move
Hotel points are often more valuable as a transfer into an airline than as a room, particularly where the hotel programme adds a bonus on transfer. The transfer page shows which of those routes exist.
